The Kitchen - In the footsteps of castle steward
Let's go and check all the food stocks, the guards and the cooks with a burgrave - the keeper of the whole castle. You'll walk through the interesting service area of a medieval castle, from the cellars to the courtyard, to the guardroom and the office, through the baileys into the smoke kitchen. This time you won't visit the beautiful representative halls. Instead, the guide takes you to places where even the lords didn't go. You'll discover the Švihov castle's operational facilities at the turn of the 15th and 16th century.
