The Castle – life in late medieval castle (basic tour)

The first tour introduces the historical and architectural development of the Švihov Castle, presenting its ceremonial rooms, which show the life of the nobility at a noble residence in the 16th century. The tour begins in the Red Bastion, continues through the Entrance Hall to the Banqueting hall and the Lady’s Chamber, then to the Castle´s Chapel, Ballroom and finishes in the Armoury with an exposition of numerous kinds of firearms and cold weapons. Czech guide tour only. Booklet in foreign language available.
